Here are some interesting numbers from a recent poll by Public Policy Polling:
Auditor:
Beth Wood (D) 46
Les(lie) Merritt (R) 34
Agriculture Commissioner:
Steve Troxler (R) 44
Ronnie Ansley (D) 38
More Council of State numbers.
It looks to me like the Democratic control of the media is sinking Leslie Merritt. The pollster noted that only 62% of Republicans are supporting Merritt for re-election.
And I would be remiss if I left out these:
Governor:
Bev Perdue 46
Pat McCrory 37
Michael Munger 6
Explanation of numbers.
Perdue is continuing to increase her support while McCrory's numbers slump. Mumnger may be hurting McCrory, and will likely be the best ally Perdue and the Democratic party have in this race.
