Stealing North Carolina's Electoral Votes At Blue NC

The progressive nutroots at Blue NC will be live-blogging with Dr. John Koza, the founder of National Popular Vote and Matt Goss (lefty blogger) using a service called "Cover It Live" at Blue NC [try here]. I'll be taking notes. If the link is wrong, I'll fix it once the event starts.

Cover It Live is a pretty good service, and I have an account there just in case I need to use it when I am covering a live event. It would be a good way for people to communicate with me, and to ask questions during my live shows.

The problem I have with the Popular Vote is that it would steal North Carolina's Electoral Votes and give them to the big cities in the United States. We need to be educating the voters on the intent of The Founding fathers when they established the Electoral College as a way of balancing the power of the few big states against the many smaller ones.

It is an end-run around the U.S. Constitution, and like all progressives...it is just another step in their destruction of our Republic.

Join Immigration Enforcement Groups for Historic Rally in Raleigh on June 18
Live Coverage

A diverse group of concerned citizens who represent the 80% of North Carolinians, which want the NC Legislature to take action to curtail illegal immigration in 2008, will gather for a rally and citizens lobby day in Raleigh on June 18, 2008

The rally will be from 11am-1pm on the Bicentennial Mall, which is across Jones St. from the main entrance of the NC Legislature. Supporters are also encouraged to join us, on the 1st floor inside the legislative building from 8am-5pm, to distribute materials and lobby NC lawmakers against HB 2717 that would allow illegal aliens in NC Colleges, while supporting measures to protect American jobs, tax resources, and lives threatened by illegal immigration.

These events will be at the NC Legislature at 16 West Jones St., Raleigh, NC

You can listen to coverage of the Rally at Blog Talk Radio, or by pressing the play button on the radio player below at 11am (A microphone icon will appear and flash when the show is live).

You can also join the chat room if Troy opens it during the show. He may not, since he will have his hands full keeping up with events.

I'll post state-wide results, and focus on the NC-11 Counties in more detail.

I'll post the updates in the comments, and have a running total in this post so you won't have to dig through a zillion entries.

Upcoming Live Broadcast: GOP Convention on Saturday (updated)

I will be broadcasting a live videostream from Haywood Community College on April 26th, probably from noon to 2 or 3pm, including the debate between John Armor, Spence Campbell, and Carl Mumpower. So, if you cannot attend, I'll have the stream up here and on Thunder Pig for you to watch. I may also be interviewing candidates for office as well.

**update** 4.46pm The debate has been pushed to around 2pm...so I'll start the show around noon, and I'll be there for the duration, and will have a debate wrap-up, perhaps with the participants.

**update** April 24th, 9.34am I've been advised that the internet connection for Saturday is not 100% reliable, so I may have revert to my normal M.O. That is disappointing.

NCGOP Gov Debate in Hendersonville

The debate is scheduled to start at 8am in the morning (8am! Noooo!)

I will leave Franklin at 5ish, drop my riders off at WCU in Cullowhee at 6ish, and outsmart every NCHP unit between there and Hendersonville and hope to get there before 8am.

This is my game plan:

Plan A) Webstream Player goes here.
Plan B) My live-blogging of events goes here.
Plan C) I'll have something here by 4pm.
Plan D) Avenge me!
