A Presidential Debate in North Carolina?

Democratic Sen. Barack Obama has agreed to a matchup April 19 hosted by CBS News in North Carolina, his campaign said Thursday. North Carolina has 115 delegates up for grabs in its May 6 primary. CBS News said it was awaiting word on whether Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton would participate.

Well, now. Perhaps the very late primary date in North Carolina may mean something this time around in national politics. Not.

We all know that the primary system is set up to avoid a decisive southern voice in selecting the President.

I also note that the article refers to Senator Clinton as Hillary Rodham Clintom, but leaves out Barack Obama's middle name, Hussein.

About

This used to be one of several political commentary blogs I ran until I got tired of updating several blogs, and consolidated them on Thunder Pig, and moved the group blogs to a Ning network.

These photos are a reflection of where I am throughout the day, and a celebration of life west of the Balsam mountain range in western North Carolina.
