I awoke, opened my eyes and saw some pink in the eastern sky through the leaves...and immediately went into high gear...stumbling groggily around the Living Room because I wasn't yet fully awake, grabbing cameras and tripods and putting my shoes on.
It was worth it. When I stumbled out of the house, the western sky was full of beautiful reds, oranges and several shades of blue and grey.
