According to Movable Type scripts, I was 4.65 miles from the summit when I took this photo. The Cowee Bald Fire Tower is the building on the left.
Maybe sometime this spring or summer I can make it to the top and take the reverse photo. It has been 11 or 12 years since my last visit.
